When are the payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?

When the contract is signed, a non-refundable payment of 20% of the venue rental fee is required, along with a $500 security deposit. The remaining balance of the venue fee is due as follows: half of the remaining balance is due 6 months before the event date, and the final balance is due 3 months prior to the event. You are welcome to make smaller partial payments prior to the due dates, allowing you to create a payment plan that fits your schedule. If mailing a check, please include the couple's last names and the wedding date in the memo line. Full payment is due by the specified due date. We also reserve the right to request a credit card on file for any damages to the facility or grounds. If paying by card, a 3% processing fee will be added.

How do I reserve a date?

To reserve a date, please email us at info@parkcrestevents.com with your preferred date, and let us know you're ready to book. We recommend also including a backup date in case your first choice isn’t available. The first person to request the contract process, either by email or in person, will be given priority for that specific date.

 

Do I need to schedule a tour/meeting or can I just stop by?

We kindly request that all visits are by appointment only. You can schedule a visit here.

 

What is the average amount that clients spend at Park Crest?

In general, we believe the average budget of a couple getting married at Park Crest is between $25,000-$45,000. We have had some creative couples with smaller guest lists host beautiful weddings in the $10,000 - $20,000 range, and we have had several lovely events here spending significantly more than the average.

 

Is there a food and beverage, or guest count minimum?

We do not impose a minimum requirement because we aim to make our food and beverage offerings as flexible as possible to accommodate your preferences and budget. Whether you envision an elegant affair or a more affordable gathering, we do not require a minimum spend or guest count.

Do we have to utilize your catering and bar service?

Yes, outside food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. However, many of our brides love to provide late-night bites from fast food restaurants, and we’re happy to accommodate that!

 

Will there be another wedding the same day?

Our team ensures that each wedding at the Coach House and the Carriage House maintains its own distinct and seamless experience, even if they occur on the same day. To achieve this, we have implemented thorough measures to manage traffic flow and guide guests to the correct venue. Clear signage is strategically placed, and officers are stationed to provide assistance and ensure smooth navigation for all attendees.

Are there overnight accommodations nearby?

While we don't have overnight accommodations on-site, there are plenty of options nearby. We’d be happy to provide recommendations!

Do you offer straight tables instead of round? 

We offer a variety of table shapes and sizes to suit your needs. This includes 6-foot and 8-foot straight tables, as well as 48-inch and 60-inch round tables

What size round tables are most commonly used, and how many guests can each table accommodate?

For reception seating, most of our clients choose 60-inch round tables. These tables typically seat 10 guests, but for added comfort and space, we recommend seating 8 guests per table.

I’d like to add an extra table to my floor plan. What is the cost for this?

Additional tables are available for $105, which includes the table, 10 chairs, and a linen.

Do you provide table linens, cups, silverware, etc? 

Park Crest provides plastic cups and flatware, which are included in your catering menu pricing. For an elevated experience, you can upgrade to our china package, featuring silverware, china plates, glassware, and linen napkins. We also offer linens in black, white, or ivory, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Do you provide servers and bartenders?

Park Crest will provide servers at a rate of $175 per server, with a minimum of one server per 75 guests for buffet-style setups, and at least two servers required. Additionally, Park Crest will provide bartenders at a rate of $175 per bartender, with one bartender per 75 guests and a minimum of two bartenders.

 

What happens in case of rain?

If renting The Garden as your venue space, the client is responsible for submitting a rain plan layout along with final event details at least 2 weeks prior to the event. In the event of inclement weather, the client must submit their final decision no later than 48 hours before the event.

We plan to have our ceremony offsite, or only plan to have our ceremony at Park Crest.  Does your fee change?

Because we only host one event per day, our fee structure remains the same whether you hold your ceremony, reception, or both onsite.

 

Do you allow dogs onsite to play a part in our wedding day?

We are dog friendly, with some specific stipulations. Dogs are allowed (only with pre-approval by Kate) at the ceremony and pictures. Animals, other than service animals, are NOT allowed under roof or near food. Dogs must be on a leash and someone must be responsible for them other than the bride and groom.

 

What form of payment does Park Crest accept?

We accept cash, checks, or cards. There is a 3% processing fee added to all card payments. 

What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

Since venue access times vary based on your rental package, we recommend referring to your contract to ensure your times are accurate.

 

Do you provide a wedding coordinator?

A day-of wedding coordinator is not included in your rental, but we offer a wedding coordinator package that includes both month-of and day-of services. Already have your own coordinator? No problem—we love working with other industry professionals!


Is a Wedding Coordinator Required?

Yes, we do require a day-of coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly on your special day!

What time do you suggest we start the ceremony?

We recommend starting Friday weddings at 5:00, Saturday weddings between 4:00 - 5:00, and Sunday weddings at 4:00. If your wedding is scheduled after the time change, or if you do not plan to do a first look and intend to marry after sunset, please contact us to discuss the schedule.

 

How will the tables, chairs, etc. be arranged for my sized event? 

Each event is unique, and we recommend scheduling a meeting with one of our team members to discuss layout options. Clients have the freedom to customize their layout however they prefer!

Can vehicles be left overnight?

No vehicles can be left overnight. Please advise your guests of this policy. The gates will be locked after the event. The gates will be unlocked the following business day at 8:00 AM. 

What time does the music need to end?

On Fridays and Saturdays, music must conclude by 11:00 p.m. to ensure all guests, items, and vendors are off-property by midnight. On Sundays, music must end by 10:00 p.m.

 

When can my vendors set up? 

Vendors are welcome to set up on the morning of your event. If they need extra time, simply reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

How far in advance do you need our final headcount?

Three weeks!

Are outside snacks and drinks permitted?

Outside food and drink is permitted prior to the ceremony. It is not allowed after the start of the event. Please no drinks in glass bottles.

Is outside alcohol allowed?

 Outside alcohol is not allowed at any point during an event. If outside alcohol is located, it will be confiscated and you will be charged a fee of $250. 


What is the event clean-up process?

The Park Crest staff will manage all standard cleanup and trash removal during and after the wedding reception. Outside vendors are responsible for retrieving their items before the designated cleanup period concludes.

Can I request a specific type of alcohol? 

Absolutely! Please inform us of this request as soon as possible. Our food and beverage manager will work with suppliers to find suitable options. If you're requesting a specific type of liquor, we require payment for a case upfront.

 

Can we take photos in The Garden?

If The Garden is included in your rental package, you are welcome to capture as many photos as you like. If it is not part of your package, you can still enjoy unlimited access to The Garden for photography by adding it to your booking for $500.
